What is it?
A Celebration-period automated multi-squad tournament. You register three squads, the battles resolve on their own, and reports are returned afterward. Confirmed Mechanic The winners are decided by how well you prepared between rounds — lineup sync, scouting, troop survival and counter ordering — not by a single registration.
When does it happen?
It runs during the Celebration window, with a 5-day sign-up phase to register and submit your lineup, then automated qualifiers, semifinals (where a prediction feature unlocks), and a final. Confirmed Mechanic A Grand Celebration reward layer overlaps several phases. Celebration length and reward tables change between seasons — read the current event screen. Update-Sensitive
Who can start it?
Every eligible player can register. It’s an individual event run inside the alliance/warzone structure — you enter your own three squads and the system matches you.
How does it work?
The single most important rule: every meaningful upgrade must trigger a fresh lineup sync before the next lock. Confirmed Mechanic Hero stars, skills, Exclusive Weapons, gear, drone, tactics, Overlord, formation — unsynced power does not help your submitted tournament lineup. Then, in documented cohorts, kill score depends on unit tier, enemy units killed, and your own units surviving — not on a win/loss label. Community-Tested Intel That means it can be rational to target two weaker enemy formations for high kill efficiency rather than throwing your best squad into a low-survival fight against the opponent’s strongest. The current in-game info box is always controlling, because scoring formulas can change. Update-Sensitive
What should I prepare?
Before the first battle, screenshot all three submitted squads and total troop levels. Then, each round: inspect the next opponent’s reports and troop ordering, decide whether you’re chasing a clean win or a higher kill score, and order your squads to create favorable counters. Reallocate gear only when the event permits changes before the next lock — and resync immediately after. Corroborated Strategy
Squad design by account state
| Account state | Recommended structure |
|---|---|
| One dominant squad | Preserve the dominant counter; redistribute only excess gear. Never break your sole winning march. |
| Two strong squads | Engineer two favorable counter wins; use the third as a controlled loss or cleanup squad. |
| Three developed squads | Scout and order for maximum troop survival across all three matchups. |
| Low-spender / F2P | Prioritize troop tier, full formations and counter logic. Don’t chase a whale’s displayed power with broken mixed squads. |
Predictions
When the prediction feature unlocks, the documented version lets you recover a failed stake — so place all five permitted daily predictions, then claim wins and recover failed stakes from the History / More interface. Confirmed Mechanic Use the refresh button to avoid opaque or extremely lopsided matches; inspect recent reports, counters and whether a contestant just re-synced. Closer listed strengths can mean higher multipliers, but similar power does not guarantee similar counter quality. Corroborated Strategy
Common mistakes
- Upgrading heroes and forgetting to resync — the new power never enters the bracket.
- Optimizing for a clean win/loss record when the score is built on kills and survivors.
- Sacrificing your only dominant squad to “spread” gear.
- Skipping predictions because you assume a lost stake is gone — in the documented version it’s recoverable.
- Copying a season’s bracket cadence or reward table into alliance chat without checking the current screen.
Leadership protocol
Post the sign-up deadline and the sync rule in plain language: upgrade anything, resync before lock. Remind members predictions are recoverable and worth placing daily. Don’t publish a universal round cadence — cohorts differ; point members to their own bracket screen. Leadership Protocol
Specialist cohorts report eight automated qualifier battles per day at roughly ten-minute intervals, best-of-three semifinal/elimination series, and best-of-five finals — but these are cohort-tested bracket details, not universal law. Verify your own bracket screen before planning around a specific round count or interval, and treat the kill-score formula as the live info box describes it, since the scoring math is exactly the kind of thing a Celebration patch adjusts.
