01 What it is
Desert Storm is a weekly scheduled alliance battle for Honor Points — not a pair of daily windows. Game Rule Your alliance registers, gets matched against another, and fights a single ~30-minute battle over the buildings on the field.
02 Registration and roster
- Register Monday through Wednesday. R4/R5 leadership picks the alliance's time slot from the available options. Current Season Structure
- Matchmaking happens Thursday, pairing alliances by historical power.
- 20 starters + 10 substitutes per task force. With Task Force A and Task Force B, that's up to 60 members in the fight.
- Arrive before your window opens — latecomers cost the alliance the early board.
// Server example
On Server 2132, the available windows are currently 18:00–18:30 and 23:00–23:30 server time. Server Example These are included as a real example of how slots appear — other servers and seasonal configurations show different windows, so confirm your alliance's selected time in the event interface.
03 The three stages
5-minute prep. Position before anything opens.
Perimeter buildings open — Oil Refineries, Science / Info Centers, and Field Hospitals. Take the early board.
At the 10-minute mark, the center opens — the Nuclear Silo, the Arsenal, and the Mercenary Factory.
// The buildings that swing it
Holding the Arsenal and the Mercenary Factory together is a +15% / −15% swing — it buffs your side and weakens theirs at the same time. Strategic Advantage Win the center and the math tilts the whole rest of the battle.
04 How you actually win
The point isn't damage — it's occupying and holding buildings, which is different from merely attacking one. An attack that doesn't convert to occupation scores nothing. Game Rule
Two things make Desert Storm aggressive by design: troops aren't lost here, so there's no reason to hold back, and the battle is short, so tempo wins. Rotate squads, heal and redeploy rather than retreat, hold your team assignments, and keep comms live. Commander's Practice Press every building, every minute.
