// SEASON 2 · TERRITORY ECONOMY

Rare Soil War.

Season 2's settlement runs on ownership, not farming — what you hold when the clock stops is the entire score. Hold the highest tiers at the end and shield the Furnace to the finish.

What is it?

A Season 2 territory-economy war in which the Alliance Furnace becomes a war base and rewards are based entirely on the Rare Soil you own at season end. Confirmed Mechanic

When does it happen?

From around Week 4 of Season 2. Update-Sensitive

Who can start it?

Server and alliance leadership coordinate the holdings. Server Leadership.

How does it work?

Holdings generate Rare Soil per hour — a Level 6 fortress yields 150 Rare Soil/h + 1,000 Coal/h, and a Level 6 city yields 3,456 Rare Soil/h + 160 alliance rewards/h. Because settlement counts owned Rare Soil, the goal is to control the highest tiers when the season ends. The Warlord’s March profession gives +50% march speed in the Badlands — a critical edge. Confirmed Mechanic

What should I prepare?

High-level fortresses and cities held going into the close, shields for the Furnace, and Warlord’s March for the speed advantage.

How do we win?

Maximize Rare Soil holdings at season end, not throughout — own the Level 6 cities and fortresses when the clock stops. Defend your Level 5–6 holdings, shield the Furnace, and time pushes to finish in control. Corroborated Strategy

Common mistakes

  • Optimizing for mid-season holdings instead of end-of-season ownership.
  • Losing the Furnace at the wrong moment.
  • Ignoring Warlord’s March and the Badlands speed edge.

Leadership protocol

Coordinate end-of-season ownership of the highest tiers, Furnace shielding, and Level 5–6 defense — the score is a snapshot at the buzzer, not a season total. Leadership Protocol

Rare Soil War is settled on what you OWN when the season ends, not what you farmed along the way. A Level 6 city is 3,456 Rare Soil an hour — so the whole game is holding the highest tiers at the buzzer. Defend Level 5–6, shield the Furnace, and time your pushes to finish in control.
