Alliance Train.

A daily shared-reward run that turns participation, Trade Contracts and defensive depth into cargo for the whole alliance. Four roles, one set of rules — and one place where leadership can guide but the game still rolls the dice.

Times, caps, point values, and reward tables are the first things a patch changes — always reconfirm in the live event interface. Labels mark how solid each claim is.

What is it?

A recurring alliance reward event with four distinct roles: leadership appoints, the driver builds and refreshes, riders choose a wagon and contribute contracts, and attackers try to remove cargo. Confirmed Mechanic Get the roles straight and the rest of the event reads cleanly.

When does it happen?

The documented baseline is one Regular train plus two Mega Express trains per day. Confirmed Mechanic A Regular train is reserved for a top-20 server alliance and its driver is appointed by R4/R5; on a Mega Express, the caller becomes the driver when no train is preparing. Preparation runs 4 hours, then the train departs automatically. Confirmed Mechanic

Who can start it?

Eligibility is an alliance of 20+ members, the station unlocked, and member tenure over 24 hours. Confirmed Mechanic VIP roles unlock at Alliance Gift Level 20, letting a player ride two wagons without taking a normal seat as either Special Guest or Guardian Defender. Confirmed Mechanic

How does it work?

The train carries 4 wagons, each seating 5 selected riders who may add 0–3 Trade Contracts. The driver fields 3 guard teams. Each refresh costs 5 Trade Contracts, and the 5th refresh converts the train to gold. Confirmed Mechanic On a successful hit, a robber removes 3 random cargo compartments — not a chosen item — and the documented baseline caps the train at 3 successful robberies. Confirmed Mechanic The driver collects all remaining engine + wagon cargo; each passenger collects the remaining cargo in their own wagon.

Alliance Gift privileges can change robbery exposure and attacker-failure limits, so the live Gift panel outranks any older guide text. Update-Sensitive

What should I prepare?

If you’re driving: build the three strongest practical guard teams — the event quietly punishes accounts that stack every piece of gear into one march. Collect passenger contracts continuously. Before refreshing beyond gold, compare all four wagons: a further refresh can improve one wagon while degrading another. Corroborated Strategy If you’re riding, bring your contracts and pick your assigned wagon — don’t crowd into an oversubscribed car right before departure.

How do we win?

Train value is cargo quality and survival together, never quality alone. A glamorous gold train with weak defense can pay less than a plainer train that actually arrives. Corroborated Strategy At Gift Level 20, decide whether the VIP slot is worth more as a Special Guest or a Guardian Defender — the Guardian Defender replaces the driver’s defensive squads, which is a real trade, not a freebie.

Seat policy — the honest version

A train accepts unlimited join requests, but each wagon selects only five riders, and when more than five choose the same wagon the game selects randomly. Confirmed Mechanic Contracts, likes and leadership preference are not documented as changing that roll. So a seat policy is a social-control system, not a game-control system — useful for fairness and morale, but it does not override the RNG once a wagon is oversubscribed.

Common mistakes

  • Promising guaranteed seats, then losing the random roll on an oversubscribed wagon and looking like you broke a promise.
  • Driving with one strong march and two weak guard teams — the train’s defense is the sum of three.
  • Refreshing past gold without comparing wagons, and degrading the best one.
  • Treating a gold train as automatically the most valuable regardless of who’s defending it.
  • Copying an old robbery-cap or reward number instead of reading the live Gift panel.

Leadership protocol

Run a hybrid seat policy: publish driver/defender selection separately from rider seats, reserve a few seats for measurable contribution, rotate the rest, and assign wagon groups before preparation ends to prevent oversubscription. Publish a hard “do not move wagons” time. Leadership Protocol

Reward chests are version-sensitive — read the structure, confirm the contents in your live station. A current official off-season update upgraded train reward choices (for example, a UR universal-shard slot became a Hero Shard + Exclusive Weapon choice chest, and a Skill Medal slot became a Skill Medal + Overlord Skill Badge choice chest). That is a versioned change on the servers that received it — not proof every younger server shares the same train pool. Treat it as a current regional example and verify your own reward preview before promising anything in alliance chat.

Spend paths

F2P$0
Fully free and participation-driven — bring contracts, ride, and defend. This is a logistics event, not a spend event.
Starter~$1–25 lifetime
Nothing required; consistent daily participation outperforms any one-off purchase here.
Budget~$5–49 / mo
No purchase improves your seat odds — the wagon roll is random. Spend only on permanent account development that improves your guard teams over time.
Competitive$50+ / mo
Stronger guard teams mean a train that survives to deliver. Invest in defensive depth across three marches, not one show-piece squad.
