What is it?
A weekly Season 1 alliance defense. The Crimson Legion — the NPC faction that holds the season map — launches repeated counterattacks against your alliance’s cities, and your job is to be standing on the wall when they hit. Confirmed Mechanic It runs as a multi-day objective beginning around Week 2 and is one of the steadiest sources of alliance rewards in the season.
When does it happen?
Season 1, from around Week 2 (Objective 02), running roughly 17 days. Attacks land every Tuesday and Friday, with the first strike at Tuesday 12:00 server time against your alliance’s weakest city. Update-Sensitive Confirm the exact clock on your server.
Who can start it?
No one — it’s automatic. The Legion announces its target in advance, with a 12-hour delay before the battle, so the alliance always has time to prepare. R4/R5 don’t trigger it; they organize the defense.
How does it work?
Once a target is announced, a 12-hour countdown runs, then the assault begins: 30 successive waves about a minute apart — roughly 30 minutes total — each wave stronger than the last. Confirmed Mechanic Up to 20 players can reinforce the targeted city. A city can be hit even while under protection. The alliance reward chest unlocks at 800 Cursed Elites eliminated.
Indicative defender power by city level runs roughly Lv2 3.3–8.2M up to Lv5 ~29.9M. Update-Sensitive
What should I prepare?
Resistance is the whole game in S1 PvE: maximum Virus Resistance, healing capacity, and City Durability tech upgraded before the first Tuesday. Have reinforcement squads ready and your highest-resistance commander free to lead the rally.
How do we win?
Stack the targeted city with reinforcements (up to 20), defend as many of the 30 waves as possible — more waves held = better alliance rewards — and never let durability hit zero, or the city is lost and drops to 7-day protection. Heal in small batches and spam alliance help to keep squads in the fight. Corroborated Strategy
Common mistakes
- Letting a low-resistance member lead the rally — the whole rally inherits it.
- Not reinforcing the weakest city — that’s the first target.
- Letting durability reach zero and surrendering the city.
- Ignoring the 800-Cursed-Elites chest while focused only on the wall.
Leadership protocol
R4/R5 post the announced target city and battle time, assign the 20 reinforcers, name the rally leader (highest resistance), and track the Cursed Elite count toward 800. Leadership Protocol
The rally leader’s resistance applies to the whole rally — so a single high-resistance commander lets every lower-resistance member punch above their own number. Always put your best-resistance player on the rally, not your highest power.
