Season 1 Weather System.

Weather isn’t scenery in revised Season 1 — it is a live operating calendar. The right condition multiplies profession leveling or protects you from infection; the wrong one slows every march by a third.

What is it?

An environmental layer added in the revised Season 1 rollout and active on Server 2132. Seven conditions cycle per server, each changing the battlefield math. Confirmed Mechanic The current condition and remaining time appear above your march queue, and Monica’s forecast shows the next three possible conditions with probabilities (with a local / server time toggle).

When does it happen?

Days 1–2 are fixed Cloudy with no gameplay effect; from Day 3 the weather changes randomly at irregular intervals, active across Weeks 1–7. Confirmed Mechanic Duration per condition is genuinely unpredictable — the forecast gives probabilities, not a clock.

Who can start it?

Everyone — it is a passive, server-wide layer. Weather is independent by server, and the effect follows the server where your base currently sits. Confirmed Mechanic That independence is what makes cross-server timing windows possible.

How does it work?

Seven conditions, each with a clear operational use: Confirmed Mechanic

  • Cloudy — neutral, no effect. Normal construction and research.
  • Sunny+30% base Profession EXP from monster kills. Concentrate stamina, Doom Elite rallies and farming.
  • Rainbow — passive Profession EXP while online (tick amount not publicly quantified). Stay online doing low-mobility tasks.
  • Light Rain — troops cannot carry virus stacks. Safer infected PvE and steadier PvP defense. Does not cleanse existing base stacks.
  • Fog — monsters carry +1 virus stack. Controlled infection / cure loops.
  • Acid Rain — stacks rise over time and bypass ordinary resistance. Cleanse or relocate.
  • Windymarch speed −30%. Stay stationary or pre-position before timed operations.

What should I prepare?

A forecast habit. Keep stamina and rally targets ready so a Sunny window isn’t wasted; queue low-mobility online work for Rainbow; hold your difficult infected-PvE first-kills for Light Rain; set a stack ceiling and cure chain before farming Fog; keep a cleanse or relocation plan for Acid Rain; and pre-position before any timed operation in case Windy lands.

How do we win?

Match the objective to the weather. Sunny / Rainbow — race profession levels. Light Rain — attempt first-kill infected PvE and hold PvP defense. Fog — controlled infection farming with a cure chain ready. Cloudy / Sunny / Light Rain — safest windows for city capture and reinforcement. Avoid Windy for anything timed and Acid Rain for anything that lets infection climb. Before a cross-server move, check both home and target-server weather. Corroborated Strategy

Common mistakes

  • Spending a Sunny window offline or on low-value targets.
  • Logging out during Rainbow and losing the passive EXP.
  • Launching captures, rallies or reinforcements during Windy.
  • Ignoring Acid Rain until the stack thresholds start biting.
  • Assuming Light Rain cleanses existing base stacks — it only prevents carrying new ones.
  • Inventing numbers for the effects that aren’t publicly quantified.

Leadership protocol

Call the forecast for the alliance. Issue a stamina / rally alert the moment Sunny lands, a “stay online” nudge for Rainbow, a Windy / Acid Rain warning before any timed operation, and a cleanse reminder while Acid Rain is active. Leadership Protocol

The honest unknowns — we publish the effects, not invented numbers. Public sources confirm what each condition does but not several quantities: the Rainbow EXP tick rate and interval, the Acid Rain tick interval and cap, whether Light Rain touches stacks already on your base, and whether Fog’s +1 still applies above the required resistance. The “Pocket Watch” (player-triggered Rainbow) is community-supported but its acquisition and duration conflict across reports and stay unverified — don’t treat the drop source or a one-week duration as confirmed. Each of these is a clean 2132 live-test, not a guess.
